At GA Bishop and Associates, our mission is to empower our clients to make the best financial decisions possible for their situation, so we have designed our services and pricing with two guiding principles in mind:
· Make our services available and affordable to all Americans, not just the wealthy
· Price our services in a way that is clear to all and eliminates conflicts of interest between our clients’ best interests and how we are compensated
First, we decided that the only way to eliminate all potential conflicts of interest was to be Fee-Only; to be compensated solely by our clients, accepting no third party commissions or payments of any kind. Next, we decided to make our personal financial planning services available to the public by-the-hour for initial planning engagements, and either by-the-hour or on a flat annual retainer for ongoing support, so you can tailor our services in a way that best fits your situation. Our services are grouped into three main areas:
|
· Financial Planning |
· Financial Problem Solving |
· Ongoing Advice | |

|
The starting point for new clients is our free Get-Acquainted Meeting. This 30 minute session allows us to understand your situation, jointly determine the best course of action, and deliver to you a guaranteed price range for the services we quote, before you are asked to commit.
THIS IS IMPORTANT: while the rest of this document shows the typical price ranges for the particular service, in all cases you will be presented with a firm quote at the end of the free Get-Acquainted meeting. For instance, a significant price reduction may apply if you select more than one Financial Planning Module, since some of the services (such as the Presentation Meeting) might overlap. This will be identified during the Get Acquainted meeting and recognized in the quote. By having multiple ways to access our services, our clients are able to choose the method that most appeals to them. This allows us to appeal to do-it-yourself investors. It also appeals to young couples or individuals just beginning to build for their financial futures, or middle-income Americans who value Fee-Only advice, but may have been turned away by traditional wealth management and financial planning firms because they could not meet the account and net worth minimums imposed. Because we work with our clients solely on an hourly or retainer, Fee-Only basis (we accept no commissions or third party compensation of any kind, nor do we charge a fee that is a percentage of assets managed), there are no third party agendas to cloud our thinking.
